VISION
CORRECTION OPTIONS
(Refractive Procedures) |
Advances in refractive surgery
and new surgical techniques offer
people the opportunity to see well without glasses
or contacts. Depending on why you need your
glasses or contacts, your physician will recommend
one of the following procedures: (Click on a
procedure to learn more about it).
-
Custom LASIK with Customvue© wave
front technology
(corrects nearsightedness, farsightedness
and astigmatism)
- CK (Conductive Keratoplasty)
(corrects near vision so you won't need
those reading glasses)
- PRK
(for patients without significant corneal
thickness for LASIK)
- Refractive IOL's:
(corrects near vision by use of an advanced optical system lens implant with
cataract surgery to allow the patient to see near,
far and everything in between.)
Not everyone is a candidate for Vision Correction
Surgery, but for those who are, the surgery means
significantly better vision without lenses.
That means seeing the alarm clock when you wake up,
being able to see well when you are golfing, reading
a menu, shopping, even swimming, with less or NO
dependence on glasses and contacts!
Refractive procedures really present some exciting
possibilities! |
